Why are there female Stormtroopers

I don't think all Stormtroopers were clones, could be wrong though

Production values are great, but gameplay is so and so.

I might get it if I get a new PC.

They did this so soccer moms wont shout at them

I asked myself "is it fun?" without comparing it to Battlefield or Battlefront and I found it really fun, it has convinced me to pick up the game, but I'll probably leave that for later on since I'll be occupied with Halo 5.
It's a nice game to play casually in a Star Wars themed world.

It felt really boring and repetitive.  There's not not much weapon diversity and getting kills wasn't satisfying.  I was bored by the third game.  Couldn't connect to any servers except walker assault and the beta has trouble connecting parties to servers apparently so I couldn't even play with friends.

It feels a lot like the older ones.

SPACE BATTLES WERE SHIT M8

-no galactic conquest
-no clone wars
-no offline mode (a shitty firefight knock off doesn't count)
-no large battles (lol 44 players)
-no server browser (idk if this was in the originals, but it's still shitty anyway)
-no space battles (cutting it out and selling as dlc is bullshit)
-no custom map/ mod support

there is no reason to get this while the old one exists

The dogfights are fucking great though

I never even fought out in space in space battles, I just landed a dropship in the enemy ship and then just killed the enemy team from there

And there does appear to be an offline mode, it's right next to Survival and the description is "Play against a friend or the AI"

No Clone Wars does suck though, the Battle of Geonosis in SWBF1 was probably my favourite map between that BF2

I got bored of it pretty quickly.

At least it does a great job of recreating the Battle of Hoth from the movie.


The Rebels stand no fucking chance unless they are super elite gamer hax gods.

They fire bolts of super heated gas. That's not a laser.

I like the way it plays, it looks pretty nice, the sound is pretty good (except for the cycler rifle having the sound of a Battlefield sniper)... I think it's gonna be good

They aren't. Actually, by the time of A New Hope none of them are. The Empire phased out clones in favor of recruits shortly after Revenge of The Sith.

It's alright. Was either going to buy battlefront or BO3. after playing both betas I'm gonna grab COD instead.

And people need to not waste their orbitlal strikes on a few infantry kills, and wait until they can hit the fucking AT-AT instead.

Rockets, sniper, and turrets deal a lot of damage to vehicles.

i got it working on pc and oh boy the visuals are brilliant, it plays so much better and im surprised because i usually don't give a shit

They aren't. Actually, by the time of A New Hope none of them are. The Empire phased out clones in favor of recruits shortly after Revenge of The Sith.

They still used clones, but they began to adopt new templates and accept recruits after a failed uprising on Kamino. But the Fett clones eventually got largely phased out as they died in combat, leaving the 501st/ Vaders Fist as the only Fett legion for the longest time.

They still used clones to field and train a large number of soldiers in a short amount of time, but they came from a number of templates and were supplemented by recruits. They never phased them out entirely.

Yeah, I don't care for this meme that's going around either. "Battlefront was always a Battlefield clone."
