I wish there were multiple classes like in the previous games. I want to play as an Imperial Officer and Dark Trooper god dammit.
EA and Dice are going to ruin this game, I can already feel it.

So when can we be real about battlefront 2 like people are with Halo 2?Most of the maps were shit, the gameplay was a downgrade from battlefront 1, space battles may as well have been called boarding ship battles, the only game mode worth playing was conquest, heroes were completely broken and ruined the flow of every map, and you handicapped yourself in galactic conquest if you allowed your faction to use anything other than the trooper and engineer.

If there was a way to handicap yourself in galactic conquest, I never noticed, seemed easy to begin with.
This plays nothing like the old Battlefront games. Reasons?>Does it have regenerate health? Yep>Does it have infinite ammo? Yep>Are vehicles power ups? Yep>Does it let you choose which team you wanna play? Nope>Does it have a class to choose? Nope>Can you buy weapons? Yep>Are the cards cheep and casual to use? Yep>Is dogfighting good? Sort of>Can you pilot an AT-AT? NOPE>Are Heroes any good? NOPE (Battlefront 2 had better Hero Gameplay)>are Vehicles good? NOPEThis so called "Battlefront" game should be renamed to "Star Wars: BattleCOD/Field"

However, I have yet to understand what's so good about the DLT, although I always get killed by it. Really, all the guns can kill in a second or less.
idk if its just me, but im not having fun with the game >.>

I can't play for more than two rounds in one sitting. The balance is awful, the spawn killing worse, and with the wonky aiming on top of all that, I get annoyed with it and can't enjoy it.Really, the turret and AT-AT aiming is waaaay too sensitive with a mouse, but lowering the sensitivity makes flying really stiff. On the ground, Y-Axis with gamepad is a lot speedier than X-Axis, so that throws me off, too. I don't like having to fight the controls just to aim competently.

It's gotten to the point where I actually kind of enjoy playing as the rebels more due to what feels like an uphill race against time to win.

One guy actually mentioned having an orbital strike and other players told him to save it for the walker, so he did. We had done a rather good job at keeping both of the link things so we had plenty of Y-Wings, too.But usually it's very one-sided in favor of the Empire.

If there was a way to handicap yourself in galactic conquest, I never noticed, seemed easy to begin with.Removal of prone, removal of a good first person mode, power ups gained from time sunk into the game made it heavily unbalanced, heroes were completely broken and ruined the flow of the maps, reduced emphasis on combined arms and an increased presence of infantry only maps.In GC the ai sucked (even more than it already did) when using any class other than trooper and engineer. So buying the other classes was tantamount to filling your side of the battle with walking free kills.
