I'm just wondering how many of you are likely to be picking it up next month/near enough, on the PeeEshFore (as a side quest-chin) because it seems like there could be some fun times had with game nights and shit (See: Pubstomps)

There is a statistical chart showing how much fun you have in hotwire.

The more breaching charges and m420/M72s you use, the more fun you have <.<

I wouldn't pay more than $30 for it. It doesn't take itself seriously at all, which would be alright if the gunplay wasn't so awful.

I will probably get it, loved BF3 with a passion, hated BF4, but I enjoyed the beta, and I have friends to play with as well.

Nope, I'm not buying texture pack that's nothing more than a cops and robbers skin. The 1918 mod for BF 1942 is the same exact type of thing as this and it's free.

I really tried to get into Battlefield in general, but eh, it isn't for me. I feel like it can't decide on what it actually wants to be. It's not exactly realistic because games like Operation Flashpoint already covers realistic warfare amiably, and it's not entirely action oriented either considering CoD excels in the over the top pew pew sploshens department. It's just a painfully average series, albeit with a slightly pretty, JJ Abrams lens flare tinge to it.

I suppose I'll see what the general consensus is after release and pick it up at bargain bin price if it gains positive reception.
