I honestly don't even want to play Unity. I can see it underselling Black Flag. I think I've had enough of the franchise.

AC was good up until 3. I do have one major beef with the series as a whole, one giant complaint I cannot ignore, work around, or forgive. It's plagued the series right from the start like a cancerous growth that won't get removed....And that's the whole fucking modern world horseshit with the animus and Desmond and all that godawful fucking insanity.Do you have even the slightest idea how much better the series could have been, if it had only been about guys in white cloaks stabbing people throughout history? Which, y'know, is what the games' advertising is based around, and what people buy them for? Instead the writers had to force that shark-jumping sci-fi crap into it. They could have just said there were magic artifacts the Assassins and Templars fought over or something and the series would have been better off for it. None of that alien bullshit clogging up the series. Desmond is about the least interesting character anybody's ever had the misfortune of witnessing, which kind of sucks because you're stuck with him for half of every single game. There's not one single moment where I gave a flaming shit about what he and his fuckbuddies are doing in the present. Go back to Altair and Ezio, dammit, I want to stab more evil dudes.
I've only played 2 and most of Brotherhood. Its fun but yearly releases are kinda meh. I'm happy I'm taking it slow.
