Are you hardcore?

Well?

My question pertains to your raiding/pvp eperience/skill in mmos (traditional or otherwise.) If you have hardcore raiding/pvp grinding experience I want to hear from you. I intend to populate my clan with a small group of hardcore individuals who plan on taking on the toughest content Bungie can throw at us in Destiny and do it (hopefully) before anyone else.

It's just been announced that matchmaking will be disabled for raids, so this is definitely going to favor hardcore clans for progression.

What's hardcore?

Time will tell what it takes to raid and pvp hardcore in Destiny, but you can figure 6 days a week 4+ hours a day. This is likely going to be a minimum requirement.

That's a start, we can talk; it's a relative unknown, the level of commitment required to push for firsts in Destiny. So, 50/50 may well be good enough (hope not but that's me.)

No. It is honestly not very rewarding to be a "hardcore gamer" these days, especially in multiplayer games. Losing because of the ineptness of your teammates will just make you rage and throw your controller at the screen.

I'd consider myself a semi-casual these days. I don't play games a lot these days but if I'm playing with a team of course I'll put in my 100%.

I'm in the same boat really, I haven't played truly hardcore in a number of years, but I see an opportunity in destiny for a small tight-knit group of hardcore players to stand out in PvE and PvP and I am interested in rebooting that part of my repertoire. Like i've been saying as well, semi-hardcore may be all that's needed to dominate Destiny, time will tell on that one.

I've never really got into MMOs, as for grinding I don't really do much of that unless I play an rpg. Even then its not that much, I get bored after some time and fall asleep in the middle of the process.
