Depends on what role you like to play. I just found out that Osiris is really really powerful. And no one plays him. Try him out. My go to is Mercury, his late game is just stupid. 3 hits pretty much everybody at full item build. Also, Janus is fun to play.

Whatever you do, make sure you only use favour to buy gods, not gems. He Bo is insanely strong, Ah Muzan Cab is one of my favourites, Kuku is strong and cheap and you should pick up Artemis too (475 favour is a steal). Do you play Smite on PC or XB1?

Eww, you're playing the alpha (beta, idk) then? Console players are so easy to beat on Smite, if you like the game and want more of a challenge you should think about the PC version. Even my below-min-specs convertible can run it.

You suck it up and get away from Smite because HiRez is a terrible studio with no regard for their games other than as means to make money.

A lot of the guys I play with are on PS4 and we always destroy the other teams

Unfortunately I can't think of another studio that immediately dropped one of their "live" games (which had plenty of potential even as an esport) the moment a more profitable fad arose. And now they're making their take on Overwatch/TF. Just sayin', I guess if you like the game support them now, but don't expect it to have longevity if they get distracted by something else. Valve and Riot have their flaws but at least the multiplayer/esport games (TF, CS, DotA 2, LoL) they make are ones they're dedicated to as far as I know.

Yeah, I play on PC in a clan with my friends and gf. Problem is our main man has a high ELO and so we end up being pitted against teams far better than most of our team. So we lose way more than we should
