I don't get why people care about a Pokemon having 6 ivs. 5 is good enough, because Pokemon usually have a redundant stat or two.

A mixed attacker benefits from it. Otherwise, yeah, five with either sp.atk or attack as the imperfect works just fine. Or speed if you run a trick room team
