This stuff is fine so long as there is no buying and selling involved. Trades are acceptable, but keep in mind that you're doing so at your own risk.

To expand on what Slash said: it's more of a liability thing. I don't want to be responsible for someone conducting transactions on the site.

While it's true that you could get away with it, so long as you kept it to PMs, I still don't recommend it. eBay, or even craigslist, are going to be better options for you if you want to sell stuff. Trading item for item or code for code is fine, but you're going to be doing so at your own risk.

But this is kind of off topic, since the OP didn't mention buying/selling/trading of XBL trials. I just thought it needed to be said before the issue eventually came up.
