The first two gyms in any Pokemon game. It just feels so slow until you get some higher level pokemon.

Several levels of HL from what I can remember. Also Lowlife from HL2. Actually freaked me out when I first played it. Like 9 years old or whatever.

Haven't played MK8, but is this track seriously worse than rainbow road?

Yeah man, it puts even the SNES one to shame with how shit it is. There's 1 difficult Rainbow Road in MK8 that's actually pretty manageable once you get the hang of drifting lines. But on banked/slanted corners (which is pretty much every corner in Cheese Land) the drifting mechanics become jank as fuck and the outside of every corner becomes a black hole. It doesn't help that it's one of the 5 courses in the game where the AI and item RNG are designed with the pure intent to absolutely rape you with unfair shit on 150cc and above.

It's a shame because on 50-100cc it's actually a really fun course and the lower speed means the corners won't punish you for being slightly off the optimal line.

I think the only reason I disliked the deep roads was because I had just did the magi quest and that left such a bitter taste in my mouth

TBH the elf questline annoys me the most, just because I hate fighting the werewolves when they do that goddamn pinning move over and over again. So fucking annoying.... But the story is good and lady of the forest is waifu material, so it evens out.

Completely forgot about the collector ship in ME2 during an insanity run. The two scions firing on you while having to deal with harbinger/drones on the floating platforms can go to hell.

Yep. Only part of the game I really just absolutely hated. Well, the beginning was horrible too, but a lot of beginnings for big RPG's are. The Fade was something that stopped me from starting new games.

Which beginning, the one that you choose or the warden part?

But the wolves are balls in the final stage of the game because you can't level them at all.

Lost in Dreams quest in the Broken Circle part of DA:O. Just annoying to navigate and really brings the worst out in the combat system.
