I'm not taking about a flash game or a Nicktoons game where the characters of Invader Zim are there for camo purposes.

I'm talking about an actual legitimate Invader Zim game. The only thing that would need to be done is purchase the rights and convince Jhonen Vasquez along with ALL the voice actors why it would be a good idea. It's got a great story, hell, one that was never finished either. You can only find the real ending by reading scripts of what was going to happen to earth.


Personally, this would be a video game I'd play, especially having the very beginning cutscene ripped from the beginning of the very first episode and reanimated in a 3D game engine.

Now.... the only way this could be achieved is if someone here wins the lottery with more than enough money to pull it off. Maybe even get Soapy Waffles involved since they are trying to finish the unfinished episodes that never saw the light of day.

But say you had an infinite budget, all the money in the world for this project. You bought the rights from Viacom/Nick, you got Jhonen Vasquez's permisson to do it, you got all the original voice actors for their respective characters, artists, designers, programmers and everything at your disposal to make it happen.

What kind of game would you make it be? A 3rd person platformer? First Person? An Invader Zim RPG?

Hell, any Invader Zim fans here?

More importantly, do you think a game like this in this day and age of a canceled cartoon be done? Is it too late to have it's own video game?

I'd probably make it a 3rd person open world.

I wish I could sue them for canceling it.
