The only reason why I'm buying a new one, is because 1. I have a lot of the parts already (both previously owned and given through promotions/friends) and 2. Because I was able to get a lot of discounts. Also because my apartment is all nice and fixed so I can now start setting up my game room/man cave. All my consoles will go into the room, full surround, and I want to have a monster PC in there. Also because I'm hopeful that Microsoft starts putting all their games onto PC allowing me to make the full switch. My brothers are starting to play on PC again as well.

I am not one to make mega builds and multi monitor set ups. I am very experienced with building PC's and I'm fairly confident in my set up, because its foundation is from my previous ones. 75% of the water cooling rig is brought pack (new pipes and such, but the hub is the same one. Koolance Exos is amazing.)

Note: It's a dual PSU build (1600W for GPU 4-SLI OC, 650W for CPU OC w overhead). Also the three monitors are there for now. If I end up not liking a three monitor set up, one of each will go to my brothers, as well as one extra 980 Ti. Its also a Raid 0 build, with a 1tb back up in unison just in case of crash. Always have your back ups fam. 2tb main storage. I also enjoyed how my last build had custom LED lighting but I never got to play around with NZXT hue, so I'm getting it this time with a bundle with the new fan controller (got max NZXT fans for the 900D and they fit). It's sort of flawed to have a hybrid cooling with max air flow and almost a full loop (not Mobo or RAM).

Any thoughts or suggestions/additions? Any mistakes I made? The price is $2500, because most parts are already purchased.

Also might want to add a CPU cooler to the list if you haven't got that warning covered. Looks like an outstanding build, what do you expect to be using it for mostly anyway?

Fixed! I messed up putting the name tag so I just removed it, rookie mistake on my part lmao.

CPU cooler is covered with the loop, CPU 380I plate from Koolance with the Exos will have that shit in the 35 degrees Celsius area. Plus the TP will help keep it stable as well as the airflow.

When the next but jump in GPU power makes it so I can't play at atleast 60fps at Ultra I'll swap the cards out and probably give them away to friends/family.

Obviously it's a gaming rig for extreme resolutions barring that I like a multi monitor set up. Another thing is my gf has always enjoyed watching me play, so I'm going to do a video link so she can have her own screen and watch from the couch or have it wired to my TV (or projector depending on what I decide on). Either way I have a lot of steam games I've been wanting to play, and since my brothers are going back to PC and hopefully Microsoft starts putting their games on the PC as well it'll become my primary device.

It's also there if my brother needs to do some heavy designing and such. I'm pretty open when it comes to it.

4-way SLI usually nets worse performance, and there's nothing out there that can't be maxed by a single 980, let alone four. Double and triple check that your water block is compatible with your parts. IMO futureproofing is a waste of time since those parts will be obsolete in 4-5 years, but you've got the cash so it's your prerogative.

Across 3 2560x1200 monitors the 4-way has its purpose, plus there all 144hz so in the off chance I'm pulling high frames I can see it. As for future proofing, if this can pull for 5 years I'll be happy. I don't mind getting new cards when the time comes
