Quote from: BaconShelf on June 06, 2016, 01:43:12 AMIf you get a mod that slows the timescale, it will also adjust survival accordingly. I have that, darker nights, a rebalance mod (Makes humans (Including player) die in one or two hits but makes PA super strong among other stuff), a delevel mod that lets any enemy spawn at any level and some other things. It makes survival a lot better. Enemies aren't bullet sponges any more. Still challenging enough to make you have to think and plan, but not nearly as frustrating as survival was. I dread fighting deathclaws though, I installed one that buffs all their stats considerably to make them more like their 3/NV counterparts.Plus my tacticool assault rifle with the see-through scopes and tactical attachments is pretty awesome.Having night be a lot longer combined with not being able to see anything really makes you want to stay at camp more. I built a small little survival shack in a bus (It looks really cool) and I now actually end up going out on scavenging runs in the day and either trying to get back home (I'm at starlight drivein) or find somewhere to put down a tent and sleep through the night. It's amazing, I love it.My only real complaint is that makung any enemy spawn at any time is cool for a challenge, but I'm super levelled compared to what I ahould be in regards to equipment. I had an assault rifle and some combat armour by level 5.you're on xbone right? can you send me the link the these mods?

Know what annoys me?When I start running in 1st person then switch to 3rd and my character just stops on the spot then starts sprinting again. Shit's annoying.

There's also a fuck ton of new weapons/ armours/ bugfixes scattered throughout and it all works fine. I can post my entire load order if you want.
Tried it for a bit. Issue is if you're going female, the character creator is a little buggy. Couldn't change the color of my eyes or hair, or mess with the body scale.
I'm really having trouble getting back into this game. It's just so damn boring. It's not bad, just BORINGGGGGGGG. I listened to a Fallout 3 song in 4 and it made me realize how much I loved that world, and aesthetic much more. NV plays into that too. This game though, idk. It just bores me.
Still waiting for the ability to holster my weapons.

NV is better than 4, though, I'll give you that.

NV is better than 4, though, I'll give you that.I'm not talking about gunplay, or graphics. I'm aware that's better. I said aesthetic, and location, along with the music in general. I liked it all better when I played Fallout 3 first, as opposed to playing Fallout 4 when it first came out.The location is piss boring to me. In fact the only compliment I'd give it is the verticality they did in the cities. But things like how the guns look? The buildings? The way they changed the nuka cola, medkit packs, water, literally everything? No, I don't like it in the slightest. In fact I'd argue the guns look like they were designed by a 5 year old. At least 3's guns looked like something real, and rather creative. 4's just look so stupid to me.Fallout NV plays into this too since it uses the same items and art style and models.
Then you just don't like the aesthetic of the Fallout franchise. There's nothing wrong with that, but 4 is far truer to the feel of the series than 3 was. 3 was just a generic destroyed metropolis, something you might see in Killzone. 4's changes to the buildings, guns, nuka cola bottles, etc, are all in the vein of retrofuturism. They're not supposed to look realistic, Fallout's art style has never been about realism.I see where you're coming from, though, you should check out The Last Of Us if you haven't played that yet. That's a realistic post-apocalyptic game, unlike the Fallout series.

I'm saying the way THEY CHANGED THE DESIGN ON THINGS BOTHERS ME, AND THE LOCATION OF FALLOUT 4 IS NOT THAT INTERESTING.And sorry last I checked, the buildings that were destroyed in every Fallout game before 4 that weren't super science like, looked like typical 1950's buildings. It's supposed to have that retro 1950's sci-fi feel to it. Fallout 4 doesn't.
