I'm not sure if this thread derailed already, but does this Zoe girl even have any influence or power for her opinions or agenda to really matter? And how are we supposed to know if any of this legit? All of you have horrible reputations for stretching the truth and becoming erratic when it comes to any topic on feminism, so who's to say these are her actual opinions and agendas? And again, even if they are, what kind of power or influence does she hold that makes it such a threat for you guys?

I wasn't becoming "erratic" over her being a feminist. She's fucked up the industry and she does infact have influence in the industry. Not to mention she has done plenty of shit before. Including fucking up indie game companies. Don't say I have a reputation of becoming "erratic" when I'm one of the newest members here.

I hear all the social justice folks rustling the bushes, making lots of noise. But I don't pay attention to that stupid shit, just like I either ignore or politely tell people I don't enjoy to fuck off.

The key to the whole thing is doing what you like, and continue to do, without acknowledging all the stupid asshats on the side. All this media garbage that's clung to the gaming community's underside over the last few years has been fucking stupid.

In a way, it's just like movie reviews. Other people's opinions are fine and all, and sometimes they may even help you along, but in the end, the only important and true opinion is your own. The internet is, and can be a useful place, both interesting and full of knowledge, but over the years, it's been heavily bogged down by all this social media garbage that clouds around it.

Basically, let the ramblers ramble. But pay them no mind or attention. That's always been the key thing many great leaders, both reviled and praised have had on their side. A voice that people would listen, and pay attention to. I'd bet you money if people had listened to what Hitler had to say, but chose to do nothing and let him ramble on instead, he'd have no power.
