To be able to live forever. It is a wiser choice than wishing for money, because you have an infinite (or very large) amount of time to gain said money.

Here's the problem with the whole "Genie and the Lamp" scenario.

No matter how many wishes you have, the Genie always says he can "grant one wish".
You can have 100 wishes, but only 1 will be granted.
