Yes because the issues of users complaining about how it force upgrades them anyway is exaggerated? Even if you could remove these issues permanently, why should you have to do so in the first place? Microsoft is aggressively trying to push their OS on people with or without their consent, and on just that fact alone, it is malware. This is ignoring the other facts about it's malware properties like third party information gathering and sending, and advertisement pushing. Even outside this man's page it follows definitions of malicious software in both adware and spyware.

What visual evidence do you want? I don't have W10 on my computer and I'm running an unactivated version of 8.1 so it pesters me to use a CD key over everything else. Why do you need visual presentation when the universal definitions of adware/spyware are good enough?

Because its not good enough and this case, you're wrong. Microsoft isn't aggressively pushing shit. As I said before telling Windows to choose when to install updates let alone not installing the update that triggers the Windows 10 upgrade exe file will prevent the upgrade from happening. It has to be set on Windows automatically updating for you, that isn't malware if your settings are set to automatic. I have a friend who also has his Windows update shit set to choose when to install and he never forcefully had to upgrade to Windows 10, it was ready for him, but he never pushed the button to do it, that is until I told him that its actually much better than Windows 8 or 8.1 since he stayed on 7 because of those 2, after that he went ahead and pushed the button and guess what, it had to download and extract everything, it doesn't just start up right away.

Maybe if more people knew about their fucking Windows update settings, this shit wouldn't have happened for people to conclude that its malware.

And another thing, you can actually opt out of sending data to Microsoft. This isn't a fucking new thing with Windows 10. This has existed in previous versions. You don't even need to have Cortana turned on, let alone your fucking location. All of that shit is optional. You can even install classic shell if you hate the new Start Menu design and layout.

For fucks sake. If Windows 10 is such malware, then why hasn't shit like malwarebytes gone off the charts with it? And don't even dare say that malwarebytes is malware, that's taking it too far.

Because it's software coming from a "reputable" source (Microsoft is dead)? And just because it doesn't automatically upgrade on you doesn't mean it's still not forced. Aggressively advertising it and keeping that pop up on your task bar (I even have it on mine) is pushing it on people. Also, just because you can manually remove its spyware features doesn't mean it's not spyware. I can manually delete the files of a virus that has infested my computer, doesn't mean it's not a virus.

HERE!

Christ man. Can't even make a thread without computer illiterates believing in the dumbest conspiracies.

Oh and another thing, a clean install will fix it and remove the "malware." -_-

So it is in fact, very easy to remove. You're still wrong about it though, I've been using it for over a year and I've beta tested and I haven't any problems to dictate that its rouge malware. You wanna know what's really malware? Norton Anti-virus. That right there is real rouge software that will even delete anything it doesn't like from your flashdrive, any so called "untrusted programs."

Seriously if you're that paranoid about Windows 10 or even being forced to upgrade to Windows 10 and since clearly you won't even bother researching how you can prevent upgrading to it since you're so fucking afraid that its malware, you might as well install Windows Vista on your computer and praise the lord for it.

I don't ever have to worry about W10 plaguing my computer because I'm running a unregistered version of 8.1, nor do I use Norton Anti-Virus. I personally don't ever have to worry about that hot garbage infecting my computer but that doesn't stop the fact that W10 is malware by every definition of Spyware and Adware. Software doesn't have to be "rogue" in order for it to be malicious. The idea that a company can not do anything malicious to its userbase is by far the most uneducated thing anyone could possibly have the audacity to say.

Spoiler
Switch and stay on Linux then. Don't even use Mac OS products even, because clearly Apple is doing malicious shit to its users, and if that's really the case with Microsoft, then guess what, you're already fucked with your unregistered copy of Windows 8.1 You think not entering the product key means your safe? By your own definition, you're fucked.

My dad is Microsoft. <_<

OT: Seriously though, to conclude that Windows 10 is just malware, you might as well as say that it all started with Windows Vista then, because everyone here has seem to forgotten how big of a problem that one was.

On that note we might as well as say that iOS is also malware.

I don't use Mac and previous version of Windows did not have an aggressive advertising campaign as much as 10 did. Mostly because there was controversy on whether or not average build computers of those time frames could handle the new OS. I ran XP well until I got my laptop which came with 7 and never once received pushing for either Vista or 7.

I suppose next you're going to tell me that Microsoft is the Illuminati itself.

Oh Ian. I hope you also don't have an Xbox One, because that now has elements from Windows 10 on it!

You either die a hero or live long enough to become Mythic..
I honestly have to agree with Deci and DAS.

While it does have those features that send data to third parties and other shady things. Almost all of it can be turned off and none of it affects your time on the computer, i've never had an issue with shady things happening as I am downloading mods for Skyrim from third parties(Nexus) or other things I won't mention, overall the OS works just fine. I've had 1 issue with it so far and that was because I fucked things up.
However if you don't like it wait 4 years and see if Windows 10 is any more appealing and if it isn't you'll just have to work with Windows 8/8.1 or buy a Linux/Mac.
