The SE has the hardware of the iPhone 6 in a phone the size of the 5. For the feel it will take time to get used to that size again. It's not the length of it which feels odd, it's the width.

The main reason why I dropped them is due to iTunes. I wasn't a fan of having to use it for every action when I hooked my phone up to my PC. The S8 as you know it acts just like a flash drive when you hook it up so you can have your way with it. The other minor thing which really annoyed me is that I can't have a custom ringtone unless I bought the song through iTunes.
