Would You Support Unsticking the "Music Thread"?

The topic of unsticking the "Music Thread" was brought up in a thread yesterday, where some users expressed their belief that the thread should no longer be at the top of the forum 24/7, due to the fact there is little discussion (other than posting videos again and again), and that removing it may spur more thread creation when it comes to sharing songs and discussing music in general. Of course, there are likely users here who believe the thread is a good topic for our forum, so we're also looking for you to give your opinion.

I pinned it because every offsite I've ever been apart of has had a designated one. The constant music threads that popped up on The Flood used to bother more than a few and they didn't particularly want the same thing happening on their offsite.

This is a different community and so it can make different decisions. Personally, I don't really care.

I like it being there, but there aren't many good reasons to keep it stickied.

The only real downsides to unstickying are that I have to search for it to post in it, or new users may just create a new (redundant) music thread, and I like all the music posts in one thread for convenience.

I'm not fond of opening it up, just because of loading 25 youtube videos at once and it's not like I ever see discussion in there.

To be honest, I only post in there in the hope of imposing my music on others. I don't listen to any of the awful shit that you kids post. If it were removed I'd have one of my staple thread-types returned to me, and I'd start making them again: Music Threads.

I don't use it much and I don't even listen to a lot of the music there.

I'd have one of my staple thread-types returned to me, and I'd start making them again: Music Threads.

The only real downsides to unstickying are that I have to search for it to post in it, or new users may just create a new (redundant) music thread, and I like all the music posts in one thread for convenience.

I'd suggest having some sort of "one music thread per 5 forum pages" or something, to prevent spam in this case.

This, the music thread sorta links with Plug DJ and has a lot more activity.
The art thread isn't big enough and doesn't see enough activity for it to stay pinned.
