it's just that "post rock" doesn't quite encapsulate what their sound is like

whereas with other genres, even if you've never heard "sludge rock" before, you can probably imagine what it sounds like based solely on those two choice terms

Electronica (Most kinds I guess), synthpop, uhh... I don't know what specific genres most of the music I listen to actually is, other than it being mostly pop/electronic >.>
