its all about what happens after prom that matters
Just go and drink a shit load of alcohol. Its nothing serious to think about
I sure didn't. I'm sure it might have been fun on a base level, but prom always just seemed like a colossal waste of time and money for what basically amounts only to a big ol' circlejerk, followed by a half-assed popularity contest that nobody is going to remember in the next five years. It's no big loss.
Who wasn't a loser in high school?
If you're of the disposition that would lead to you even asking this (i.e., you don't have a large group of friends to go with or a girl to ask), then no, you won't. I went to two and the real memories are of the after-party.

Who wasn't a loser in high school? Even if you were "popular", what happens after that? You go to college and enter the real world, where literally nobody gives a flying, feathered fuck about what you did in high school.

I guess I'll need to take a second to inform one of my best friends, who is currently attending Yale, that he's a loser, as well. With his perfect SAT/ACT scores. If only he had went to prom--that would have made all the difference in his life. He would be a real winner.
