Not only do you need 95/100% correct answers on a test, or pretty much As in every subject, but I have to redo a course I didn't get an A in if I want to become a psychologist. I don't really mind the low pay, but my ultimate dream is to study the brain and figure out every factor that makes up consciousness to the smallest detail, then applying that knowledge to other things. Maybe create an AI, y'know?

But the lawyer program only needs you to get 70% right answers on that test, and I already have all the As I need for it, plus as a lawyer I could probably get more money and such.

Flee vs Psy

Whilst I can't speak for what it's like to do lawyering, the one thing with psychology is that you'll never be short of a challenge or become bored with meatbag minds. However it should be fair warning that research methods in psychology is hands down the most tedious thing on the planet, you have to get through that crap to do the work with real humanoids.

Hmmm, I'll have to weigh the pros and cons

Wait, I found the answer!

I become a lawyer, and after about 7 years when I'm done with my education I'll buy lottery tickets and win, then study to become a psychologist comfortably. I become a lawyer psychologist, move to America, persuade the jury to vote for my case, then get really famous and live the good life.

Like, really good shit.

But seriously, I can talk about law as a career more generally if you'd like.
Not sure what you mean, but I'm good with rules.

Lawyer. Psychiatrists probably either attract the crazies or repel them. Law equals money, and all women like money. Crazy or not.

Quite honestly you would make a good psychologist. Your ability to read people is admirable but if you don't feel up to doing the schooling.

You're probably not smart enough to be a lawyer. Just get a phychologist  degree like the rest of the degenerates

His eyebrows sparkling, his white beard hangs down to his chest. The thatched mats, spread outside his chise, spread softly, his splendid attos. He polishes, cross-legged, his makiri, with his eyes completely absorbed.

He is Ainu.

The god of Ainu Mosir, Ae-Oine Kamuy, descendant of Okiku-Rumi, He perishes, a living corpse. The summers day, the white sunlight, unabrushed, ends simply through his breath alone.

Yeah, I'd definitely be a good psychologist, but that's not what I'd like to do. I don't want to help people. If I became a psychologist it'd be so that I'd be eligible for further qualification. My main goal would be to work with the brain from an objective viewpoint. My ambition doesn't seem to be something that's shared in the research field seeing how most of the resources (universities' teams with access to EEG and BCI machines as well as test subjects) are going to understanding ADHD, or why Psychopaths feel anger, but not empathy.

I think that we have the tools to bring forth a basis for the human mind, but people are instead trying to reinforce single pillars. The thinking is too limited.

What is it that I'm potentially lacking? Analytical skills, cognitive skills, social skills, or are you too lazy to identify what it is and youäll just say all of them?

Desty, a psychologist wouldn't be the one doing brain and cognition mapping. That's more in medical research. You're thinking of a neurologist. Guess it's law school

No, a neurologist works with nerve cells that have to do with motor functions and brain surgery, but what I'd like to do is do research. That is in the medical field, but it is also something that's accessible via a psychologist title. It's very difficult to get into one of these research teams ; even more so with a psychology degree alone.

To do what you want you'll need both. That's 12 years of schooling. Then you gotta try for one of those teams. It's a needed field. If it's your passion, go for it. If not, go to law school

Yeah, law school has more possibilities, but I honestly think that I could contribute to solving nearly all questions regarding the brain. There's no passion towards that though, only a romantic view of it.

Both are hard journeys. I think you need to determine where your passion lies and do that.
