Because I'm quite happy with the way I am.

Also, why do you only use the same pictures? Something is off.

To everyone that says they don't have the time, let's quickly do the math here, there are 24*7 hours in a week, of which I spend 3 on exercise, so as a percentage that's [3/(24*7)]*100 = 1.78571428571%

1.8% of my total time spent working out effectively without equipment, 98% of my time is spent doing NO EXERCISE AT ALL, and yet I'm quite noticeably fit. Working out is NOT hard, it does not take up any noticeable amount of time, and the only equipment you need is GRAVITY, you simply have no excuses flood.

But I like sleep.

the one true God is Doctor Doom and we should all be worshiping him.
I'd like to say I don't have the time, but that's a lie. I really just don't have the motivation.

How the hell are you people arguing about this LOL

Exercise is good and important. Bodybuilding is stupid. End of discussion.
Bodybuilding is literally build upon different exercises and a healthy diet.
Bodybuilding is making your body unhealthy. Those constantly rigid muscles don't make for an athletic body and when they atrophy you're gonna have big problems.

Especially all those fucking chemicals you guys use, not to mention steroids.
Large muscles aren't rigid and stiff, hence most football players and wrestlers. The only time they'll be stiff is during recovery, like any other form of exercise. And if they atrophy then you just get smaller muscles. It's not like they'll shrink so fast you get loose skin.
Also not every bodybuilder takes steroids.

Honestly, it's because I don't play sports or work in a profession that demands it anymore. Back when I played soccer/football and was a lifeguard I'd stay fit in order to preform well. Now that I'm not either I'm not pressured to keep up with it. I should get back into doing daily exercise though because there really isn't a downside to doing it.

Lifting for the sake of getting women is the shittiest reason to lift ever.

BRB fucking superficial bitches who only like me for my physique and nothing else
BRB getting taken advantage of sexually by people who couldn't give a fuck about my personality
BRB wasting my life trying to impress others while being dead and miserable on the inside

and hey, i'm all for impressing people--i think that's very important

but it should be no wonder why some people may not be about that life

also, i lift every weekend

I do, or I've started to. But o honestly have no idea where to start. Right now I've just been going through chest, shoulder, tricep and calf exercises and machines on a regular basis for the last two weeks or so.

Why not go with two-and-two?

Day one:
Chest Triceps
Day two:
Back and Biceps
Day three:
Legs and abs

That's pretty basic tbh

Properly resting after a workout is almost as important as the exercise itself. If you don't give your body a chance to repair itself then you'll only end up harming yourself, so in order to be good at working out you need to be good at sleeping a lot.

Your love gets me so high
starch you know that you're my dawg, but seriously...just stop. there are plenty of valid reasons why people choose not to lift weights, and making a thread like this only makes you look like a massive tool.

I was just getting into bodybuilding, diet and all, then I lost my job.

So I just quit, I'll get back into it when I have money again

Feet first into fun!
I don't have the time to. I'd say that I don't have the resources to, but there is a shitty weight room in my dorm.

I typically just do push ups and sit ups every couple of days. As for my legs, I just walk everywhere because I'm too cheap to take the bus or call a cab.

It's arguably the most important part, honestly. A lot of people think that just hitting it as hard as possible in the gym for as long as you can is what'll get you that amazing body, but that's just wrong. You can fuck yourself over big-time if you try to just pile everything in because you think more = better.
