Why do white people get so mad over the word "nigga"?

Like, seriously, it's just another word for "bro", or "friend". People on this forum always tell me "well go say that to a black guy and see what happens l0L", but I always say that word to my black friends, and they say it back to me. Pretty much everyone at my school uses it to each other, and no one except for white adults has a problem with it. Even the black teachers at my school don't give a fuck when someone uses it.

This has led me to believe that people on this forum, and stingy white people in general, are trying to "protect" black people by getting butthurt over that word, when most blacks don't even care. Now that's racism in and of itself.

Who agrees?

No, the word nigger is just a word with no inherent meaning. It's the intention behind using the word and the meaning derived from it that can either be racist or not.

He also drinks Blue Moon instead of Colt 45, so I'm questioning weather or not he's just wearing blackface makup.

As R.D.H said when explaining his use of the word:

"I never knew the word "nigga" could offend an audience of middle-class white people"

Honestly I think it's because it's a mix of OTT political correctness ("How dare you, you could possibly offend a black person!") and white guilt for the whole slavery thing nearly 2 centuries ago.

It created a mindset of "We should them show we have become better people since then by being offended by the thing our (predecessors?) did, otherwise we are still terrible, etc, etc"
