Why do I keep having dreams where.....

I fall in love with girls I barely know? A week ago I was dreaming I fell in love with a girl I had in an English class a few weeks ago, she was cute and I'd date her irl but the dreams are intense I wake up feeling like it was real

Today I dreamed I spent a year at an amusement park and fell in love with a girl I knew for 3months like 2 years ago and never saw again. Had never even thought about her until today.

What gives?

I had a dream like that a couple nights ago, except, I can't remember her face....
All I can remember is that she was pretty, but if I try to think back on it, her face is sort of blurred out.
