Why do I freak out when I hear other people have sex?

I've had this problem since before I ever had sex, and I dread situations where I know it might happen

I cannot stand being in a room or thin walled room while trying to sleep only to hear the people next to me having sex. I honestly freak out and get a weird mix of emotions including anger, disgust, anxiety, and even a little jealousy. It's really freaking weird, does this happen to anyone else? It's not necessarily that I'm jealous of the couple either, the girl could be ugly af and I'll still feel the same. It's even worse if I know the person.

I actively avoid certain events like camping or staying in hotels with girls and guys if I know someone's going to get it on, even if I know I'd be having sex too. I just can't stand it

Anyone know this feel?

This one place I stayed at for a month, there was this neighbor who had a very uh...vocal partner. I would just roll my eyes and continue working. Also there was this motel that I also stayed at for about a month (fucking disgusting place, but kinda had to just deal with it) where you could always hear people having raunchy sex. I would usually just bang the walls to make them freak out and if I was lucky, they'd stop.

It was more awkward than anything else, and actually led to a lot of resentment on my part because she's had so many abortions.

Really regret ever being in that situation, but it's not like my home life was much better.

I live in a basement apartment. The only thing above me is a old couple. I don't think they have sex anymore.
