Humans just love them because it's hotwired in our brains for many reasons, men and women.
2. Graphic Content (Strict Moderation) Sexual/Shock/Gore images and videos must remain in Anarchy only. NSFW responses in safe-for-work (SFW) threads are not allowed, due to spoiler problems on Taptatalk NSFW threads (including sex role-plays, sex stories, Cheerio threads, etc.) that do not include photos or videos are allowed in The Flood, so long as the thread is distinguished as being NSFW. Responses in these threads do not need to be in spoiler tags.
Boobs are inheritently sexual and private, that's why. We are and have always been a SFW site, meaning that we won't simply allow things that would get people in trouble for viewing them in public or at work. And it just so happens to be that boobs are considered NSFW and not something that society deems acceptable to view in public because of their sexual tone. We don't make these standards. We just enforce them on our site to keep things SFW. It's not as if we, the mods of sep7agon.net, deliberately made the choice to have society view boobs as NSFW.
I'll do the policy bit firsthand <.<Quote2. Graphic Content (Strict Moderation) Sexual/Shock/Gore images and videos must remain in Anarchy only. I think there is a caveat we've been operating with where you can link to it in a marked spoiler thus circumventing the NSFW issue and being able to make your point that way >.>For the wider issue, I'm afraid the inclinations of meatbags over what is sexualised and why is kind of a blank spot for me. My best guess would be to call upon an old deceased foe for an explanation but really I can't say why.I find all lewd things distasteful but that's because I'm a nutcase, but to hide behind the badge I just do the cleaning up >.>
It is unfair. Breasts aren't sexual organs, but for some reason they have to be hidden because every guy nearby will get a hard-on.

Breasts aren't sexual organs, but for some reason they have to be hidden because every guy nearby will get a hard-on.I can't believe I'm actually coming out with this sentence, but wouldn't that kind of be like...victim blaming?I mean, if men pop a stiffy simply because a woman decides to walk down the street bare chested then that's entirely on behalf of the man. If women's pussies started fermenting if I walked down the street bare chested (unlikely) and someone passed a law to stop men walking bare chested in public because it turns women on I certainly wouldn't appreciate it.
Women have functioning breasts, men don't. Tits have a sexual purpose whereas a bare man's chest doesn't.Why would they be treated the same if they're totally different?

I really don't know why they're found to be sexual, but I'm sure there's a scientific reasoning for it.Not to mention, men's pectoral muscles are generally considered attractive to women depending on how toned they are. So no, the "sexualization" argument doesn't really hold up.

Besides; tits are considered NSFW anyways because of religious and cultural reasons stretching back over a thousand years or more in Europe (and so, the US, AU, NZ, etc...). Speaking from a objective 21st century perspective there's not a great reason for them to be NSFW.

Either neither gender should be allowed to display their chest in public, or both should be. I don't appreciate double standards.

People should just post female foot pics instead.
