Why are people disgusted by bathing?

I always hear people say bathing is disgusting because you're laying in a tub of water made dirty by your own body but I don't understand. Do you people roll around in faeces and are so dirty to the point where you consider the water you're sitting in gross?

Bathing feels good, especially when the water is so hot it hurts to keep it on one place too long.

The only reason I don't bathe in tubs is because it takes a week to fill up the thing. Showers aren't very pleasant, either, but at least they're fast.

I can't keep the water in the tub warm enough without draining some of the water, and adding more hot water. Too much hassle for something that should be relaxing.
