How far/close would you want to live to your parents?

My house is about a 20 min drive from my parents house. I feel this is the perfect distance. Just far enough where they won't pop in every day but close enough where If we ever want or need to be together, its easy.

Sadly, I'm still stuck at home for now. Once I move out, I should be about thirty minutes away, so that should be nice.

I don't have any parents to live close to, they disowned me for helping my sister after she came out of the closet, but the two who birthed me live about an hour away.
