I have rituals within my room that are there for the sake of arbitrariness, like I can't have slippers on my bed, the figurine beneath my whiteboard must be upright and the area must be swept clean regularly. Those kinds of things.
I make it a habit to use hand gestures in public greetings rather than speaking and it throws people off.
If my imagination takes off with something I'll start acting it out (in private). That part of childhood just never died.

Saw handle? Finger out of hand guard because it reminds me to much of a pistol grip.
Tennis Ball Launcher? Finger off trigger and muzzle pointed in a safe direction
