I was the one who started Remember Elk. What started as a light distraction from all the 9/11 posts became a piece of history dedicated to the drunk elk. Never forget.

Before the Destiny beta was even announced to be a thing, I made a thread in the Destiny forums saying "Hey guys, my Destiny beta isn't working" pretending like me and other people playing the beta was a common occurrence. Other people followed suit and we told all the new comers who were asking about it that they had to have an account before the 2013 site update and if they wanted one now to PM DeeJ. Needless to say, DeeJ wasn't very happy.
