I don't mean that their prayers aren't going to work, I'm saying that the people only say things like that to trick themselves into thinking that- actually, I don't even know why they do it, but my point, if you're confused again, is still standing.

People don't actually wanna think about the problem, and try to come up with a realistic solution, but they rather want to come up with a cheap way of ignoring the problem by "solving" it, or contributing.
