On a site that averages hundreds of thousands of visitors a day, you sure do stick out.

I shitpost on 4chan a lot.

4chan and reddit would be the biggest ones. The smaller ones are all just sort of random backwaters like here that all fill a mixed bag. Some vehicle nut forums, building shit, bodybuilding, sexuality, mixed gaming forums. Mostly just for reading material. This is the only place I'm assed enough to bother talking.

I used to run one until it collapsed in 2017, and I've drifted through a bunch of others. I've been on a lot on analog and flower power boards, some writing and art boards, and so on. It's an experience, and occupies my time when nothing is happening irl.

So apart from here;

Reddit
2 Discords frequently enough that I consider myself an actual participant (as opposed to just there for the notifications).
Another offsite (not Sapphire).

And formerly;
Sapphire, mostly to see how it played out (it's festering about as well as we are here, with all the trimmings of soap opera drama).
A Battlefield EU/UK offsite forum that happened to split off from the official place around a year after Bungie did their redecorating (it died sometime in 2016/17).

I used to be a semi regular on zeldadungeon. It’s more traditional in terms of layout but offers a bit of customisation on the background.

I occasionally post on 4chan, albeit only /tg/ and recently /m/

I'm very inactive on Bungle. I mostly just post in the Warhammer thread I started.

I post sparingly on a 40k fan forum. I don't have much in common with the community there aside from liking 40k, they're very... Boomer-ish. Good place for hobby advice though, as well as discussion regarding rumored releases.

I have a reddit account but never post because reddit is trash.

Melty Blood discord because I used to play Melty Blood while I had good internet (now I just look at porn and post sometimes :^))
Synthetik discord, though I rarely participate in discussion now, I used to play the game a lot an give feedback to developer so he fixed bugs/exploits and help new players.
There's discord with a lot of japanese resources, which I joined only recently and from time to time I take time to learn Japanese, so far I got hiragana and katakana online, I need vocab and I should learn some common kanji so I start reading.
There's then Flee discord and another streamer discord that plays games I'm interested in and then I'm in discord of a finnish youtuber/programmer called Bisquit.

Well I used to visit New Flood and Flood V2, but haven't in years now. Flood V2 is gone now anyways. I was also admin of WeHaveUnicorns, another B.net off shoot. I think the only other forums I still visit besides here right now are B.net and Bombing Science (a graffiti forum).

I browse discord more than forums now, I would say. Mainly art servers.

I used to go on Bungie a whole lot. I stopped after they made you play Destiny to post on there. I don't know if that's the case still but I haven't gone back. I use reddit often and once in a while I'll visit Halowaypoint.

big circlejerks like that usually just migrate to discord or whatever

There are Discord servers, but I rarely ever go to them. Even though I’m friends with plenty of users, I don’t feel so close I’ll regularly hop into a private voice chat. I definitely float on the periphery but I’ve been their so long I enjoy most of their company. I think Bungle stays active because it’s big enough to hold the entire spectrum of comfort from people. The more distant users can hang around and still interact with everyone.

It is cool how long these communities last, though.
