what's the difference? This is coming from an introvert, so I want a serious answer.

There are days when I prefer to walk alone because I enjoy my alone time, but being a female it's not too safe in my area. There have been a string of dead bodies found on the river's shore.

The enjoyable things about going for a walk with friends is that you can share the experience with those you care for. There are a lot of minuscule pretty moments that you wouldn't normally share unless someone was there with you. For instance, seeing a family of deer grazing in a field, watching a turtle sunbathe on a rock, having a snake slither past you, or watching the sunset over the river. I love those moments but they're more enjoyable with the chatter of friends.
