is that I can post stuff like this, and desty can post stuff like that

we thrive on the small, 2-5 reply threads. Quality (represented through # of replies) is maintained by way of democracy, a big thread needs to be appealing etc

I'm more likely to read a thread and engage in discussion if there's already replies, but there's a cutoff point where if there's like 4 pages of replies already I'm just gonna give up.

there was a time where i'd respond to just about any and every thread

We could have discussions for episodes in TV series or something

If the community votes on a series that's easily available (so on youtube, netflix, or on the content provider's website if it has no region locking) and then has a discussion thread every three days or something

It'd only work if there's enough support for it, no point i there's like four people

lolno, this forum is a cesspool of diverging tastes and ideas, bungle is a file cabinet

I wouldn't recommend that tbh. One of the other forums I browse enforces that and despite some quality discussion occurring there, the forum is essentially just a giant library of ancient discussion where nothing that is current gets discussed because they already discussed previous iterations of the topic for fifty pages.
