Actually if you drive north for a few minutes you'll hit a shit ton of farmland because Michigan is RIGHT there.

My parents live in the middle of nowhere (for all you culchies out there, its Offaly). When I lived with them, that's where I was. Its all rural, but not I liked it there. Now I moved into the capital, Dublin. All concrete, no farmland. I like it here too, but miss the silence.
