Depends how old they are. If my kid is 13 or 14 and I find him smoking, I'd be pretty angry. If he was 16 or 17, I wouldn't give a shit.

I do think, however, that a large part of why people see weed smokers as the "lazy, dumb stoner" archetype is because most people who smoke were lazy and dumb to begin with.
I've been a daily smoker for a while, and I'm pretty sure I'm just as sharp as when I started.
