Most people don't do that untill later, because that's how you cause early bidding wars and inflate your price.

DeChief has gotten a few items from eBay by sniping. I'm not sure if it works so well with greater competition than 20 year old games that 8 people still care about, but hey.

You have to have guts and wait for the 5 second mark. I've seen people jump the gun at 15 seconds and then I come in and ruin their day.
