also Underwood does the whole "morally-grey/evil protagonist" 100x better than Walter White

In the same way 2 Fast 2 Furious is more intense than No Country For Old Men, sure. Underwood is straight up a villain protagonist, from the very first episode. There's no progression or room for doubt. He's so confident in what he's doing, and nothing can shake him.

Walter White personifies delusion. He deludes his family, his enemies, and himself. He truly believes he's "doing it all for my family", because if he's not, then he has nothing to live for. So we have five seasons of Walt, tied down by his constant insecurities and hubris, create situations that a normal man could easily avoid. Walt is a logical genius, but has the emotional maturity of a middle schooler.

That's a far more interesting protagonist than Frank "killing all my rivals for more power then expositing to the camera about it" Underwood

So I meant 223, which is that one. Show is just missing something before that, and it is just perfect from then on.

I like Ron for how he interacts with the rest of the cast, especially S4+

ron swanson is like if you tried to write the most unlikable possible character ever, to a point where nobody could ever top it

For his political philosophy, sure; but

also his entire purpose (in terms of the show) is to show someone who politically is the exact opposite of Leslie while also being one of her most ardent supporters

most unlikable character ever is noah cross btw, intentionally so

Seriously, even if you don't want to watch the movie I highly recommend everyone at least watch these two scenes
