What do you feel about this? UPDATE

What if you signed up to a forum, brand new person there and right when you hit that register button, you are treated to a bad ass intro. One that showcases the community and many of the things that go on in it, all while playing some epic music and welcoming you to the site.

What would you think of something like that?

I personally have never EVER seen a site do that. If that were to happen and it done well, I think I would be pretty hyped.

Had an idea to do something like that. Threw this together real quick. Is this too cringy? It would only pop up as an embed player and with no auto play.

I think what I'd suggest is that having an embedded video with the welcome message/music is better than having something autoplay <.<

One of my pet peeves with sites is when they autoplay music/videos and the like. Youtube being the exception because you typically have to click on the video to start with >.>

Agreed, except for the last part, I initially pause every youtube video I watch. I watch things at my own pace, thank you very much.
