Nice truck.

I have a '98 Pontiac Bonneville, it was really cheap. Someone just hit it last week and barely did any damage, but their insurance company decided to just total it. So I can still drive it, it is minor cosmetic damage, and I got a check for $1700, for doing literally nothing.
Thanks, and well damn, that's cool. You should have a pretty good sum of that check left even after you repair it, if it is pretty minor damage.
Fuck repairing it. It is just a small dent on the front end, and it has 186,000 miles on it, not worried about resale value. I am putting that money away so I can help my bf move here next year.
Ah, got lucky with that check.

I've since then expanded my horizons, but yes, on b.net was when I got two of the 3, soon to be 4. Possibly even 5 but, I'd have to move to Europe.

This is not the greatest sig in the world, no. This is just a tribute.

I'm not the best with insurance dealings, but don't they usually take the car if they decide to total it?
The guy was insured through Geico, and the Geico representative that talked to me said they could take the car and pay me the cash value of the vehicle, $1935. My other option was to keep the car, them pay me the money, minus a salvage fee, and have them take pictures of the title. So I believe it is a "salvaged title", and I need to go to the DMV, have them look at the vehicle and see that it is completely road worthy, the dent affects nothing, and they should be able to give me a new clean title and new registration. I researched all of this before making my decision.
Oh, yeah. You did the buy back option.
Unfortunately for you now, reconstructed and salvaged titles are a big turn off and make selling the thing later on a lot harder.

Why would you have to move over there?

Why would you have to move over there?

A lot more tracks available within a smaller range. More prestigious and better ones too. Buying a track only car in the US to only take it on one or two tracks every time isn't worth it

Oooh, I think Germany would be very nice, but then you don't know any, so then England is where I'm guessing you'd rather go.

I'd love to live in England. But driving on the Nordschlieffe every week would be...glorious.
