Are Foo Fighters any good

I've never actually listened to them before, and a lot of people say they're good, but yours is the only opinion that matters, so I must know

I like a couple of their songs. They're better than Nirvana imo, but not as good as Smashing Pumpkins.

Over half of their frequent radio songs make me want to change the station.
If I have to sit through Big Me, My Hero, or Best of You I want to punch infants.
Dear Rosemary was the only good song on Wasting Light, but it is a very good song I love it.
Sonic Highways was a meh album and they're literally just like every other washed up post-grunge trying to stay relevant now.

Their first album was pretty okay. They aren't bad, but they are not spectacular.

I like Foo fighters. I like their first album and really like Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

Most people would probably tell you Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness, but I'm one of those crazies who says that new pumpkins>old pumpkins so I would say to give Teargarden, Oceania, and then Monuments to an Elegy a listen.

They are good. Amazing not sute but Dave Grohl is one of the most successfull artist to date.
