My grandparents came from each one with pretty solid ethnic backgrounds for the four countries, so I'm roughly 25% of each, but then nothing is ever perfect and it wouldn't surprise me to find odd strands of Nordic or French in there.

With my Granny (maternal), her family tree goes all the way back (And obviously past) to the some of the last witches burned in England, which is quite cheery. (400+ something years)
With my Grandpa (paternal) his line goes all the way back to some of the ancient irish kings >_>

I don't know a whole lot about my Grandad's (M) or Grandma's (P) respective trees other than my Grandma is from a Scottish clan with a Tartan and all that, but it's quite a blank on my grandad <.<
