The problem with making conversational threads on the Flood is that most people don't usually invest much effort in them.
The same things that spark conversation can be likened to advertising gambits.

Would it be prefferable if were a drama wagon? No, I guess not because the very term "drama" is often said in an insulting manner. Imagine the stupidity. You can't win. You be nice and you're a hugbox circle jerker. Be an asshole and you're called out on not being nice.

I get that, but seriously, do we need 4-5 posts that are basically the same? They start conversation yes but I assume that most of us are smart enough to have conversations about other things than an ego stroking circle jerk
