I can watch videos and play games at the same time, and is extremely handy for when I'm drawing so I can have the reference image and SAI open at the same time. No need to click back an forth.

It's super helpful at work for web design. I code on one and have the browser in another. This other guy has 3 monitors.

So you can have multiple things open without having them share on screen.

This can be very useful for coding or if you live stream shit.

I currently have 20 internet tabs, 2 pdfs, and 5 other programs open, and i'm not even close to being busy. A second or even third monitor would make handling all that information a lot easier.

I think it's pretty silly, too. Even with the reasons listed--I still think you could survive with just one monitor. Meh.

It's about being able to organize things on your computer without having to divide up screen-space or navigate tabs.

When working, I can see results on one screen while writing code at the same time, without having to constantly cycle between programs or squish program windows to the point that they're not efficient to use.

Well you see the point of having multiple monitors is so that we can organise the bi-annual monitor deathmatch in the staff chat. We offer the promotion to moderator to the last lad standing, then watch the ensuing chaos.

We were getting ready for the final one of the year but then kupo had to leaf us and I'm left with an empty colliseum ;_;

It's amazing with graphics stuff. Having illudtrator and photoshop or two photoshop windows open at once is pretty useful.

I certainly benefited from it when programming my final year project. I could run my IDE on one screen and debug on the other. Convenience and efficiency. I bought a VGA cable and hooked up my Laptop to my TV and voila!
