Back in '94 I did Basic Training at Ft Benning. We were doing a night fire drill with M60's. a big buck made the mistake of wandering down range. Over the span of 6 seconds you could see the tracers shift to aim on him. I am positive I didn't get the kill shot, but I think I got 2-3 in center mass. It didn't suffer. It was dead very quickly. The Drills went down and got it. They field stripped it and took the meat to a butcher. We had an awesome barbecue the next day. Its head and skin are still probably on the wall in the Senior Drill Sergeant's Office.
