Me:  On the very rare occasion when I can leave the city I really do enjoy looking at the night sky without light pollution.

   

living in a valley, all of la's smog comes and gets trapped here, so thats super fun

im glad it's starting to cool down tho, ive had enough of summer

as for astronomy, my university has an observatory, which is open whenever theres cool hullabaloo in the sky. i should check it out some time

i took this about an hour and a half ago. took a pic of a satellite (the line going across)

same night, friend used her editing program to make this nice color and stuff.
