Water Buffalo (Bubalus bubalis) originate from southern areas in Asia, and China. There are two types of Water Buffalo: the River Buffalo and the Swamp Buffalo. Both have been domesticated, at around 5,000 and 4,000 years ago respectively. Their milk contains more fat and protein than the milk of dairy cattle, and worldwide more people depend on the incredible Water Buffalo than they do on any other domesticated animal.

Veganism always seems like such an epic stance to me. I really don't think animals feel those sorts of things, but still you battle on for pure benevolence.
