Negan absolutely carrying the season. It's funny that the everybody's dialogue is so bad now but Negan is still on point. His solo episode was engaging and heartfelt. Wish I could say the same about the other characters. Seems like they're dropping their life story on the audience every five minutes. Like who asked? Even though people hated Princess, I actually liked her because it was finally something different than the serious mopey stuff we get all the time.

I was REALLY hoping for badass Carol to come back after season 9 but instead, she just becomes a whiny idiot who does nothing the whole season. She never even has a direct confrontation with Alpha. I don't feel like season 1O added anything new or different to the characters we know. They kinda just stand around until it's their turn to deliver a monologue.

As for the Whisperer WAR, where the fuck is the war? You know what would have been cool? If Negan laid claim to Alpha's position after killing her. Then the Whisperers split one side following Negan and one side following Beta. That would have been an actual war. Instead, we get no action. Not even a Beta vs Negan or Beta vs Daryl fight. They just give Beta a papercut and he dies. Ok.
