It's gotten so bad that adblock plus actually blocks my own uploaded images treating them as ads.

So I deleted all my images that I uploaded and closed my account. Lucky for me I have all of said images backed up on the cloud, but as far as hosting goes, I can't really host them.

Suggestions for a new hosting place?

I used to use postimage, but they started getting all upitty, so I switched to imgur.
