im only 20 iq pts behind a man (einstein) who debunked the majority of physics by thinking about trains. And seeing as physics deals with true complexity and other science do not, its even more reasonable for a 140 to be able to trash your kind than it was for a 160 to trash physics ;)
if ur iq was above 140 u wouldnt be as butthurt about the concept of a 140 hyp grad lurking this beta barn..
so the logical conclusion is that ur iq is lower than 140 (possibly much lower)

if you met me in real life you would instantly be blown into a world where all that mattered was getting me to acknowledge your existence and even hopefully be your friend... But i would probably find you to be a desperately uninteresting person and want you to exit my awareness as fast as possible.
the fact that i dont lie about my iq is what gives me the edge necessary to call you an inferior little girl who couldnt understand basic physics, and BE RIGHT ABOUT IT.

honestly if i woke up one morning and for some reason my thinking capacity had devolved to your level, it would take me less than 5 min to run to the kitchen and slit my throat...
maybe your going to tell me u work at goldman..
but ud still be way inferior, as is anybody who projects their iq to be higher than it is..

Thinking you missed the mark here. It's the lack of motivation that's holding me back. I'm quite comfortable with who I am and where I am so I have no reason to want to change, grow, etc.

i'm very rarely wrong about these sort of things but hey, it's just a forum and you might be completely different offline. i would have no way of knowing. if youre comfortable with who you are, why do you care about verbatims opinion of you so much? why go to try and prove that youre smart by taking a bunch of phony IQ tests and bragging about the results? may be something to think about.

Verbatim's opinion means as much to me as anyone else's does. They're useful for insight, but they rarely impact me all that much.

Jacob Potila was actually a Jacob Flotilla of lies.- WarTurkey
Complete: Death Note is great. I still enjoyed it after the "drop-off in quality," though. Usually not a fan of story-driven anime but after that second episode, it's hard not to be enthralled in the plot.

34 episodes: Attack on Titan is exceptionally boring for the most part. Season 1, at least. Season 2 drops a lot of the pacing issues and picks up a more distinctive character designer which goes miles for fixing the most glaring issue of S1: the fact that every character looks the same. The biggest draw the show has is that the S A K U G A is god-tier.

8 Episodes: Kill La Kill is incredibly difficult to take seriously but if I'm being objective it has some of the most brilliant budgeting and animation supervision I've ever seen. It's also pretty hilarious at times. I was hooked from the first episode, but after the third there's a lull that is a little harder to get through.

Current: Black Clover is Naruto 2.0. Asta is a little over-the-top especially in the sub but it handles its opening SO much better than Kishimoto did. No nonsense, right to the action. I've read ahead in the manga and it gets pretty interesting.

Current: Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is all slice-of-life with maybe a handful of action episodes. They retell one of Kishimoto's storylines from after the end of Naruto, which is pretty good, but just recently they finally became Genin in a pretty awesome couple of episodes. They're also starting to retell the manga now, and the last episode of 2017 had some INCREDIBLE key animation to end off the year. Basically, if you've been looking for a time to start watching Boruto, it would be now. Just make sure to read "The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" first.

13 episodes: Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the antithesis of traditional shonen. All the characters are the exact opposite of stereotypes and I fucking love it. The biggest complaint I have is that the show is, at times, a little too light-hearted for what I felt Arakawa imagined. In the manga, you have these beautifully shaded panels that really do wonders for the believability of this world. But Brotherhood is far too vibrant. I watched the first couple episodes of the original anime, and felt that accomplished this much better than Brotherhood. I intend to go back and watch that one as well.

Kill la Kill was a fun show

Fanservice aside, I actually really liked the fight scenes and characters

So Verb, have you come across JAM Project much on your adventure? They're a group made out of anime theme singers who banded together to make a supergroup to sing... anime themes. Anyway, they're pretty great from what I've heard, iirc they sang the OPM theme and some other stuff.

The Garo opening themes are probably my favorite tho. Lots of energy and action going on in these ones.

I'm allowed to enjoy a show with brilliant animation and budgeting in the same way that Anita can review and rate games on how feminist-friendly they are.
not that she does that, especially when this is stated in all of her videos:

Quote
It's both possible, and even necessary, to simultaneously enjoy media while also being critical of its more problematic or pernicious aspects.
translation: "it's okay to criticize otherwise awesome games"

so she doesn't review or rate games based on how feminist-friendly they are, she just chooses to take a feminist angle, because that's what her channel is about, and because nobody else is doing that

liking a show for its animation is the equivalent of liking a game for its graphics

it's not that you're not allowed to like good animation or good graphics, but those are very superficial things to cite as your primary reason for liking whatever it is you like

i think the difference with games is that they can't be passively experienced like other artforms, but if someone wants to only like games for their graphics, then i'd say it's only as superficial as the person's reasoning. if it's something like "look how realistic it looks", then yeah, that's pretty superficial. but if it's something more like, "look how flawlessly animated the character's movements are. that's not mocap, that took a real level of skill to pull off." then i'd say that's more than a fine takeaway to look for in the medium.

this is what i do. there's a reason i watch anime without subtitles. it helps me focus on the key animation, direction and storyboarding because that's what i find is the only most interesting thing about the medium. anime is so much more expressive than western animation. it's analogous to enjoying a movie for it's cinematography.
