Spanish troops earn a well deserve rest. Back in Spain, manufacturing of steel weapons and armor is complete, the secrets of steel is finally for the Crown to use against others and for itself. Many new buildings are started, allowing for taller buildings and new ways of architecture. This truly is the Golden Age of Spain.

When the messenger returns to Mongolia with his story, Emperor Yalavech is immensely pleasured with the generous nature of the Africans. He makes plans to send 50 suits of iron armor to the AJL as a gift. Expected to arrive there on page 8.

Emperor Tryptameme is still quite confused on what to make of the 50 shiny, heavy people-looking things, as his culture has not yet become accustomed to fighting with heavy armor. However, he accepts the principle of the gift and is pleased to have an ally from a distant land.

Emperor Tryptameme has also received word from his research station in Madagascar, who has informed him that they have found many uses for iron including enhanced weaponry, armor, and building materials. He is thrilled to hear this news and initiates Ethiopia's first ever defense program, which will include a force of about 30,000 able-bodied, trained soldiers equipped in standard iron and 5,000 trained archers with iron arrowheads whose sole purpose will be to defend the Empire's borders from any potential aggressors.

The Emperor has also found a liking for using diamonds as studs on his personal suit of Mongolian iron armor and was curious to see how the armor fared in a spar. Since the Emperor himself is not an acclaimed fighter nor aspiring to be one, he put the armor on his most trusted adviser. The result of the spar showed that the diamond-studded armor fared much better than the standard armor in combat and adds an extra layer of defense. He sends a messenger pigeon to all nations with this information and yet another proposal to enter in a trade pact with the newly-named African Empire (realized you can't be the emperor of a justice league lol).
